As I follow the route suggested by Dianne, after a commfortable night at the Titiana Hotel I started early, around 7:30 still afraid of encountering kangaroos, the highway is a very nice one all the way to Goulburn, it takes about two hours and specially toward the Blue Mountains in the East, the views are stunning, one passes hundreds of farms and ranches, there are many curves, the hills are not very high but steep at times, specially when crossing the Abercrombie River, over a narrow (one car at a time) wooden bridge.
Goulburn is a large and busy town, and after passing it you enter the area of the Snowy Mountains, which I had visited in my previous trip, but it is worth repeating, very popular with motorcyclists.
There are several dams, and all seem to be in the need of water., around the one close to Teblingo a couple of kangaroos jumped toward me , but fortunately got scared at the last instant, they tripped with each other and disappeared back into the bush saving me and themselves from a traumatic encounter.
I made good progress and after the town of Corryong, I arrived in Tooma and the comforts of a very nice B&B called Brigham House, perfectly decorated by Jeff an interior designer, born and raised in a farm near by who after retiring from his profession in Sidney decided to buy this property and after decorating made it a nice B&B.
Tomorrow I expect to get to Melbourne, I am avoiding the free ways to see the scenic areas, which will take me longer, about 7-8 hours instead of 4-6 if I followed the motorway.
I am learning to plan my route with the apps like Sygic and Google maps, but I have not been able to make the Sena intercom work, it may be me or the complicated software, I will keep trying.
